The ServiceNow PPM / SPM Implementation Consultant is responsible for assisting with the design, configuration, and implementation of ServiceNow’s Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) and Project & Portfolio Management (PPM) capabilities. This role partners closely with stakeholders to enable demand intake, portfolio governance, project execution, and value realization, while aligning with broader ServiceNow platform standards and best practices.
The consultant brings deep functional expertise in SPM/PPM and a strong familiarity with related ServiceNow modules, such as ITSM, to deliver integrated, scalable solutions that support enterprise workflows and reporting needs.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Act as a trusted partner to PMO stakeholders and DTE teams for portfolio, demand, and project management capabilities.
• Understand business strategy, investment priorities, and delivery models, and translate them into ServiceNow SPM / PPM solutions.
• Lead the functional design, configuration, and implementation of ServiceNow SPM / PPM modules, including:
  - Demand Management
  - Project Management
  - Portfolio Planning
  - Resource and Capacity Management
• Develop and maintain lifecycle plans for SPM / PPM capabilities, including Hypercare and adoption improvements.
• Manage relationships with ServiceNow implementation partners, system integrators, and internal delivery teams.
• Support data migration and transition from legacy portfolio or project management tools into ServiceNow.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Strong functional expertise in ServiceNow SPM / PPM capabilities and enterprise portfolio management practices.
• Solid understanding of project delivery methodologies, including Agile, hybrid, and traditional delivery models.
• Proven ability to build productive partnerships with business stakeholders and align them around a common portfolio or delivery solution.
• Experience translating complex business needs into scalable ServiceNow configurations with minimal customization.
• Results-oriented contributor with a track record of delivering large, complex initiatives across global or cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and prioritization skills, particularly in portfolio and investment decision contexts.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present portfolio insights and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience managing workload independently while working in a team environment.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in technology discipline or equivalent
• 6+ years of experience delivering ServiceNow solutions.

$75-$85/hr
