Title/Role: Project Management & Strategic Operations Specialist

 

Area: Pharmaceutical Sciences

 

General Position Summary:

The Project Management Specialist performs a variety of well-defined project support assignments for CMC teams, working under a moderate degree of supervision.  The incumbent may be responsible for supporting one or more specific Group/Department service functions.

 

This role is Hybrid. 3 days on site required. 

6 month contract, with the chance to extend. 

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Performs key administrative functions for the larger CMC Project Management team’s contracting and business needs including entering contract requests into Icertis contracts management system and any subsequent purchase order requisitions into the Coupa system.
  • Supports Capital Equipment (CAPEX) operations and business processes including using ServiceNow and Coupa systems for equipment order entry
  • Supports Flexible FTE (FLEX) program operations and business processes including management of Smartsheet tool for legal review and approval of related technical documents and RFPs and submits to selected vendors.
  • Support shipping requests and facilitate shipping transactions in VITAL system
  • Executes purchase orders for suppliers and coordinates material deliveries
  • Works with various cross-functional groups (such as Quality, CMTO, Trade Compliance, Regulatory, suppliers, etc.) to proactively and collaboratively resolve issues that may block the flow of materials or projects
  • Assists with offsite and onsite material inventory storage needs including shipment and pickup of onsite and offsite materials as needed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associate/Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline
  • Typically requires 2 years of relevant work experience, or the equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Works effectively across departments and levels, building and maintaining productive relationships
  • Ability to effectively balance customer expectations with internal/team expectations.
  • Knowledge of Coupa, Icertis and Oracle – based systems
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong prior experience in the pharmaceutical industry

Pay Range

$35-$38/HR
