Congress Operations Manager (Contract)

General Summary:

The Congress Operations Manager will serve as the project manager for one disease area and manage one to two major congresses per year. This role will also serve as the project manager on the congress-specific strategic alignment team and ensure each team delivers on their required elements in the planning process.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Serves as the project manager for one disease congress plan and manages one to two major congresses per year (may also provide support for other congresses)
• Tracks congress timelines and ensures the strategic alignment team for each meeting delivers on the required elements on the planning process (congress overview decks, attendance lists, executive summaries)
• Runs strategic alignment meetings including collecting the right agenda topics, ensuring the right discussions/decisions are made, and captures the minutes/action items post meeting
• Implements congress toolkits/playbook for each congress and is responsible for the development of the congress overview deck and executive summary
• Coordinates the creation and distribution of daily summaries and congress summaries for internal audiences and uploads into INSIGHTs tool

Knowledge and Skills:

• Ability to work collaboratively with multiple internal functions and external stakeholders

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree
• Typically requires 4 years of experience or the equivalent combination of education and experience

$57-$59/HR
