Associate Director, Artwork Management (Contract)

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Provides visible leadership in one or more department areas/teams
• Responsible for overall relationship with external graphics providers and printers
• Coordinates activities and leverages best practices across multiple projects and suppliers
• Collaborates with multiple stakeholders including Regulatory Affairs, Project Management, Supply Chain, Quality, and Marketing to meet project timelines and objectives
• Supports the Artwork management system administration
• Champions high-impact cross-functional initiatives to enhance Vertex’s artwork capabilities through process or system enhancements

Required Experience & Education

• Typically requires 8 years of experience of work experience and 2 years of supervisory/management experience, or the equivalent combination of education and experience
• Bachelor's degree in relevant field

Required Knowledge / Skills

• Advanced knowledge of cGMP’s and associated CMC regulatory considerations in a pharmaceutical environment
• Emerging knowledge across multiple technical areas
• Strong communication, collaboration and team building skills to persuade managers and leaders to take action; ability to connect with all levels of the organization
• Strong aptitude for motivating others and building team unity
• Ability to navigate and be successful in a fast-paced, highly-matrixed work environment
• Knowledge of best practices for artwork development and global pharmaceutical artwork requirements
• Track record of both technical and project leadership, exerting broad influence both within and outside the Packaging & Labeling organization

Contract length: 6 month with an opportunity for extension

150/hr. - 160/hr.
