Job Description

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and analytical Business Systems Analyst who is comfortable working in regulated environments with sensitive data. This role will support a redistribution of workload by owning foundational system maintenance activities, ensuring data quality, and maintaining accurate documentation across business systems.

 

Key Responsibilities

System Analysis and Documentation

  • Conduct deep‑dive analysis of system edge cases and document findings to support product and engineering teams.
  • Create and maintain process documentation to ensure systems remain accurate and compliant.

Support data completeness requirements for account setup, user provisioning, and hospital/ATC (Authorized Treatment Center) records.

System Configuration and Record Maintenance

  • Perform ongoing maintenance of system configuration settings and data records across multiple applications (e.g., Veeva CRM, Salesforce, Oracle, ServiceNow, SailPoint, Informatica).

Testing and Release Support

  • Execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new software releases and system enhancements.
  • Validate data integration and synchronization across connected platforms.

Data and System Hygiene

  • Maintain user lists, deactivate inactive accounts, process name changes, and support routine access reviews.
  • Perform ongoing maintenance of hospital and user records to ensure accuracy across systems.

Patient Logistics & Light Validation Support

  • Support light testing or validation activities related to patient logistics systems.

Process Optimization

  • Identify and implement improvements to keep systems and workflows accurate, current, and compliant.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional partners to standardize and streamline processes.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with quality, compliance, commercial operations, field teams, and digital system owners to ensure alignment on requirements and system changes.
  • Coordinate with global teams to maintain consistency in onboarding processes where applicable.
  • Collaborate closely with Veeva CRM technical teams for account structures, hierarchy setup, and key data dependencies.

 

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree with 2–5 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Experience with data analysis, validation, or system operations.
  • Ability to work with sensitive data (PII/PHI) in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with JIRA or similar tools.
  • Understanding data management processes and multi system environments.

Preferred

  • Experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, or other regulated industries.
  • Knowledge of GxP and compliance driven workflows.
  • Exposure to Veeva CRM or other CRM/account management systems.
  • Understanding of the U.S. healthcare ecosystem.
  • Canadian market exposure (minor—approx. 5% of workload).

Contract Length: 12 month with chance to extend.

Pay Range

$65 -70/hr.
